My first Blog Post

I was looking for a crochet pattern for a hat that I want my aunt to make for Gerry.  It's a hat with a mustache and beard crocheted onto it, and it is absolutely hilarious!  I found a photo on a blog on here and I had heard about blogspot for awhile now.  Why not have a place to record all those random thoughts and whatevers that I never know where to post them or write them down? Hopefully anyone who reads this will be entertained or amused.  I don't know how this blog will develop or progress, but it will be something that I am looking forward to seeing how it turns out.  With Maddy starting school, this is a whole new chapter in our lives and I want to document it as best as I can.  :)
